Backstory: The Fall

He had been young and impulsive, one of the more recently made angels, a new fresh angel. He had loved the attention the older angels lavished on him. He had been made with hair dark as night and eyes as blue as the depths of the ocean. So many angels had their light hair and light features, Kesdeya felt his bright colors were a sign of a bright purpose. But he was young and fool hardy. After he was allowed out from the watchful eyes of the elder angels he made his first mistake of many in his life. He had found himself mesmerized with Lucifer.

Lucifer who was so brilliant and bright.

And he was to young to sense the danger of stepping to close to the light.

"Come, little one. Sit." Lucifer had spoken, looking directly at him and it made Kasdeya feel special again. He sat by Lucifer's side, so naive, so easily swayed to the wrong side. Humans, scum. the lot of them. The humans were not special like they were, the angels came first.

"It is easy, simply do what I told you." Lucifer spoke with that beautiful smile that Kasdeya could never say no to. "I promise, no harm will come of it." Something felt wrong, but he trusted his big brother. He landed easily, his wide white wings folding as he made his way towards the couple that Lucifer had pointed out. His peaceful smile in place, just like big brother. He could do this.

"If you allow me, I am an angel of the lord." He started feeling braver as he spoke. "I have come to answer your prayer. The child is unwanted, and my lord has granted me permission to teach you how to stop it." Something felt wrong as he said it. The motion was easy, he guided the man through it. But when the woman started screaming in pain his eyes widened.

When he returned he had tears streaking down his face, it was Lucifer that found him first, he scooped the young ANgel up. "You did well, my boy." Praise, praise always got him, but it felt wrong still.

"You said no one would get hurt.... she was hurting so bad." He spoke, as Lucifer put him down and stared in his eyes. "Are you feeling bad for the humans, Kasdeya? The very creatures that took our fathers love?"

"No no!"

"It sounds like you are... besides, your one of us now, my boy. Now come talk with the adults."

It didn't take long until the problems started, a civil war of sorts, angel against angel. The boy angel was told to stay away from Lucifer as the factions split, but he ran for his beloved brother.

"I cast you out!" The booming sound of the father's voice ripped through the heavens as Lucifer and the others started to fall.

"FATHER! NO!" Kasdeya screamed without thinking as he tried to grab for Lucifer, but it was to late.

No words were spoken for him, he was not worthy. The pain that ripped through him he had never felt before as he fell through the heavens. his wings all but broken. What had he done? Why was he forsaken?

"FATHER FORGIVE ME!" he screamed back towards the heavens as he fell. the feathers from the others below floating around him.

When the fall was complete he felt like something had been ripped out of him. Laying on the hot ground where his brothers laid. It was Lucifer who stood, naming their new prison, and naming himself its lord, and each of those with him named and numbered. The Five Satans. Kasdeya knew it was not wise, part of him wanted to run, but part of him still loved Lucifer more than he could give up.

The name of the first Yekon:
that is, the one who led astray [all] the sons of Elohim, and brought them down to the earth, and led them astray through the daughters of men.

And the second was named Asbeel:
he imparted to the set-apart sons of Elohim evil counsel, and led them astray so that they defiled their bodies with the daughters of men.

And the third was named Gadreel:
he it is who showed the children of men all the blows of death, and he led astray Eve, and showed [the weapons of death to the sons of men] the shield and the coat of mail, and the sword for battle, and all the weapons of death to the children of men. And from his hand they have proceeded against those who dwell on the earth from that day and for evermore.

And the fourth was named Penemue:
he taught the children of men the bitter and the sweet, and he taught them all the secrets of their wisdom.
9 And he instructed mankind in writing with ink and paper, and thereby many sinned from eternity to eternity and until this day.

And the fifth was named Kasdeya:
this is he who showed the children of men all the wicked smitings of spirits and demons, and the smitings of the embryo in the womb, that it may pass away, and the smitings of the soul the bites of the serpent, and the smitings which befall through the noontide heat.

The five were sent to gather tropes and make demons, but as time pased, Kasdeya became more corrupted, blaming the humans for his fall. He let his name fall from the list of those important, and though he still held the title of fifth satan, he was a laughing stock by the time he was called to Lord Amos. He had taken a mate, Naamah, a whore amoungst the angels. a naive but, fallen as well. A sweet fallen angel everyone had hoped to courupt, and instead of breaking her, he ignored her. His name had kept her protected, until Gadreel himself came and tore her throat out while she carried Kasdeya's spawn. He didn't weep for his mate or the life she was growing. Instead he took it as it was, poetic justice for all the deaths he had caused.

It was Amos who gave him purpose again. Like Lucifer before, Amos had his loyalty.
