Scene Five

He was falling again, this time it wasn't from the mighty heavens around the brothers he once adored. No, he was falling for the woman who was a blight on his honor. He had mated with her What in all the layers of hell was wrong with him. And visiting her after in Paris, offering his service to stand against his own family. What the hell was wrong with him. Even Naamah had not made him this careless. Lucifer had forgiven him for not breaking her because Gadreel had slaughtered her with Kasdeya's spawn inside of her. The rage had made him vicious in the pits whole his brother claimed to rule the fifth circle as Kasdeya was to soft. The little angel that never really gave up his grace.
He was laid against his massive bed staring at the ceiling as he had been doing for days. No amount of washing would get her scent off him fully. He could still smell it, still see her moving on him, he hated her and yet, he didn't want her dead or at any man's mercy. She was powerful, a warrior queen and she didn't need to be shackled. The fact that Gadreel and his goons had been outside of his home hours ago demanding to see him made the anger bubble more. His brother beating upon his chamber door as the scions of both sides moved back. A powerful spell was on his chamber door and had been for ages to keep the scions out of his space.
"ANSWER THE DOOR YOU FUCKING COWARD! LEAST I START EATING YOUR BOYS." Gadreel yelled as he kicked at the massive door. He had waited hours to threaten the scions, he knew that Kasdeya was still sore over his pregnant whore, but, that was old blood. There was not a soul in hell who didn't know that his little brother protected his scions and collected ones no one else wanted. Theaten his men, get the wraith.
...and Kasdeya was bothing if not predictable. The door ripped open standing in his tailored pants and suit shirt hanging open, his hair messy, eyes glowing bright as can be and his teeth all sharp and ready to rip out his brothers throat. "Just bloody come in, your acting like a jaded whore!"
The door slammed closed once Gadreel made his way inside. Both faction of scions basically at a stand off outside of the door.
It was raining again, maybe rain was a sign of what, or who was coming. He didn't bother to pretend to be human this time. It was late, the rain pounded down on the umbrella, he had two items of importance on him, a small box under one arm, and something long wrapped in red cloth held over his shoulder. The umbrella floating as he walked, keeping him dry.
Come out, come out now, and be quick, I have a short time.
He had left after Gadreel had ridden off with his scions, Kasdeya gave his own free reign to go with his brother and be protected, or they could stand and be ready in case any other demons came to their door. He expected battle. The grand home not far outside of Dis was on lock down the weapons of old pulled out and ready.
Someone had informed the concil of Kasdeya's many visits to the surface... and his smell of a powerful hellhound. One of his scions had betrayed him, and that scion was on a pike in his lawn. A warning to the others. He knew he probably brought hell down on his home, but the fact that Gadreel came to warn him was sketchy enough, but his brother was always sketch as fuck. He had long accepted that, he'd never forgive him though but the information was enough to know he needed to get out of dodge before the other Archdemons showed up. At least go warn her even if she probably didn't need to be warned. A strange energy radiated off the item over his shoulder, something purely holy. Far too holy for a normal demon to have even wrapped up.
His only fear was Lucifer actually coming off the throne, he'd betray even her for Lucifer. Lucifer was always his weakness, Michael had only scolded him as a boy for hovering around the bringer of light, but Lucifer was always kind to him, always protected him... gave him purpose even if it was a terrible job, he had been chosen. It almost made him ache knowing Lucifer could know of his betrayal, Amos surely already knew, but no one knew as much as Amos, he hadn't betrayed Amos's missions yet.
